Expected Launch

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to launch sometime after the Chinese New Year, which falls on January 25, 2024. Though no specific date has been confirmed, this timeframe suggests the device could arrive in the first quarter of the year, possibly in February, similar to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s release.

200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera

One of the key highlights of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is its 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. According to the leaked information, this camera will feature a 100mm lens and support 4.3x optical zoom, with an f/2.6 aperture.

Additionally, the device will include a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, a feature it shares with the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro.

Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro Launching Earlier

While the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is scheduled for early 2024, its sibling devices, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, are expected to launch later this month. All three models are rumored to feature Qualcomm’s next flagship processor, which could be named either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Snapdragon 8 Elite.
