Samsung’s highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series is just around the corner, with excitement building as leaks and rumors circulate about its imminent release. One of the standout features this year isn’t just the tablet itself, but the keyboard accessory that’s getting a significant upgrade. According to the rumours, Samsung is replacing the familiar Lang key with something much smarter—a dedicated Galaxy AI key.

A New Kind of Shortcut

Leaked renders, courtesy of YTECHB, have given us an early look at the Book Cover Keyboard cases for both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra models. What’s instantly noticeable is the addition of the Galaxy AI key, which finds its home on the right side of the Alt key, where the Lang key once sat. This new key could serve as a shortcut to Samsung’s suite of AI-powered features, much like how the Copilot key operates on modern Windows laptops.

Though Samsung hasn’t officially revealed the exact purpose of the AI key, it’s likely to offer quick access to some of their Galaxy AI tools, streamlining the user experience for professionals and creatives alike. This change reflects Samsung’s growing focus on integrating artificial intelligence into everyday tasks, enhancing productivity and efficiency on the go.

An Upgrade with Familiar Comfort

Beyond the exciting AI key addition, the layout of the keyboard remains largely unchanged, keeping the design familiar for long-time users. The Book Cover Keyboard for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 will still offer a detachable trackpad on the standard version, making it a versatile choice for users who need a laptop-like experience. The slim version, however, opts for a more minimalist design, skipping the trackpad entirely to focus on portability.

Both versions of the keyboard case include an S-Pen slot on the back, ensuring that users always have their stylus handy. The cases will be available in classic Black and White, adding to their sleek and professional appearance.

Cross-Compatibility for Current Owners

One of the more exciting details is the backward compatibility with last year’s Galaxy Tab S9 series. Samsung fans who already own the previous models won’t be left out in the cold, as the new Book Cover Keyboard cases with the Galaxy AI key will work seamlessly with the Tab S9 lineup, offering them a taste of the latest innovations without needing to upgrade their entire tablet setup.

What’s Next for Samsung’s AI?

While the Galaxy AI key on the new keyboard is a highlight, it’s just one piece of a larger trend. Samsung is clearly committed to artificial intelligence, and this dedicated key might be a stepping stone toward deeper integration across all their devices. Whether it’s automating routine tasks or enabling smarter interactions, AI is poised to play an increasingly central role in the Samsung ecosystem.
