As the dust settles from Apple’s iPhone 16 launch in September, the tech world is already buzzing about the next big event. Apple is expected to unveil four new products later this month, likely focusing on the iPad and MacBook lineup. While fans eagerly await the official invitation to confirm the event’s details, here’s a preview of what might be on the horizon.

iPad Mini 7

One of the highly anticipated reveals is the iPad Mini 7, a device expected to bring both improvements and some familiar shortcomings. Apple has reportedly redesigned the screen assembly to address the much-criticized “jelly scrolling” issue that plagued its predecessor, the iPad Mini 6. This flaw caused a noticeable lag in screen refresh rates on one half of the display, which led to a class-action lawsuit claiming the issue rendered the device nearly unusable.

Despite these advancements, Apple is sticking with a 60Hz refresh rate and LCD technology. While this choice might disappoint users hoping for a higher refresh rate, performance upgrades are likely. Rumors suggest the iPad Mini 7 will feature either the A17 Pro or the A18 chip, promising significant speed boosts and enhanced support for Apple’s latest AI-driven features.

M4 MacBook Pro

Leaked unboxing footage of the upcoming M4 MacBook Pro has sparked excitement in the tech community. The new laptop is rumored to come with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, potentially boosting its already impressive performance. The model showcased in the leaked video features 16GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage, suggesting it will cater to power users and professionals alike.

The design seems to mirror that of the previous generation MacBook Pro, maintaining a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology, providing vivid colors and a crisp 3024×1964 resolution. Despite the design similarities, the M4 chip is expected to deliver a leap in speed and efficiency. Connectivity options are also robust, with three USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, MagSafe 3, an HDMI port, and an SDXC card slot. Powering this device will be a 70W USB-C charger, continuing Apple’s trend of faster charging solutions.

M4 Mac Mini

A long-overdue redesign could be coming to the M4 Mac Mini, which may be Apple’s most compact desktop yet. The new model is expected to feature a chassis only slightly larger than an Apple TV, but a little taller at 1.4 inches.

Though small in size, the Mac Mini may still pack a punch. Reports suggest an upgrade to 16GB of RAM, a significant jump from the previous model’s 8GB. Port-wise, the Mac Mini might offer three USB-C ports, an HDMI port, and a slot for the power cable, making it a versatile choice for those who need a powerful yet compact desktop.

M4 iMac

Apple is also rumored to be refreshing its M4 iMac lineup, though the changes might be more about performance than design. The iMac could get a major boost with the M4 chip and an increase in RAM from 8GB to 16GB, improving its multitasking capabilities and enabling more robust AI-driven features.

While the exterior design is expected to remain largely unchanged, the performance improvements will likely make the new iMac a more attractive option for creatives and professionals who need a reliable all-in-one desktop.
