For a while now, the tech community has been buzzing with rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE. Initially, it was believed that this new smartwatch would be unveiled at the upcoming Samsung Unpacked event, which is speculated to take place on July 10. However, recent developments suggest we might see the Galaxy Watch FE much sooner than expected.

According to renowned tipster @MysteryLupin, the Galaxy Watch FE is slated to launch on Monday, June 24. This aligns with recent reports indicating that the smartwatch would be featured in a Samsung promotional offer later this month.

Launching the Galaxy Watch FE ahead of the Unpacked event seems like a strategic move by Samsung. The July event is expected to be packed with high-profile announcements, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and possibly the Galaxy Ring. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and potentially the Galaxy Watch Ultra are also expected to make their debut. By launching the Galaxy Watch FE separately, Samsung ensures it gets the attention it deserves.

What We Know About the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is rumored to be a more budget-friendly alternative to the Galaxy Watch 7, following the same Fan Edition branding strategy as Samsung’s smartphones. The expected price range for the Galaxy Watch FE is between €199 and €219, which positions it slightly above the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. The Galaxy Watch 4, which was released in 2021, is still available at $199 / £199 / AU$399.

Leaked specifications suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE will closely resemble the Galaxy Watch 4. However, it might feature a slightly smaller screen, with a diameter of 1.2 inches compared to the 1.4 inches of its predecessor.
